Prenatal Yoga Squat Pose




Squat Pose: The benefits of Malasana or Squat pose are huge! It opens your hips and increases their mobility, strengthens the legs and tones the thighs and the pelvic floor and promotes elasticity in the vaginal muscles. Practicing Squat during late stages of pregnancy (unless Baby is breech in this case DO NOT PRACTICE SQUAT) encourages Baby to descend into the pelvic cavity so that the head engages ready for birth.
